Descrição
While the repeating crossbow is utilized along the length of the Sand Road, it is rarely seriously considered for battlefield deployment. Instead, it is typically used for home defense, at sea, and by the guards of al-Zawira. It has weaker projectiles and a shorter range than the standard crossbow, but it makes up for this with a wooden quarrel stock that reloads the crossbow after every draw, provided there is ammunition available (maximum 4 bolts). It is also small enough to be spanned by hand instead of by foot or special mechanism. It is said that this device inspired the invention of the Kaiu no oyumi (rapid-fire crossbow) in the last century.
