The following demeanor is designed to reflect a personality type common among the willful peoples of the Unicorn Clan, along with other samurai who strongly embrace the Bushidō tenet of Jin: Compassion for those of less privileged station, and even for one’s enemies. These samurai avoid inflicting needless suffering, believe in social obligation, demonstrate mercy whenever possible, and strive to use their power for the betterment of everyone. The Compassionate demeanor works in the same manner as the other demeanors on page 310 of the core rulebook.
