Members of the Kitsune family are partially descended from shapeshifting foxes and enjoy a close connection with forest denizens. They tend to be graceful, charming, quirky, and a little rustic. Many have green or yellow eyes and features that suggest their animal lineage. Outgoing on the surface, the Kitsune are nonetheless slow to trust outsiders. They remember the hardships they endured due to Great Clan machinations, and while they no longer dwell on what they have lost, they have learned the hard way that nature neither follows humanity’s laws nor cares for its fate. They are most at home in the thickest woods, surrounded by nature and far from populous human civilization.
