Descrição
Most Rokugani personal lanterns use a candle as their light source, while standing and stone lanterns use rapeseed or sardine oil with a pith wick. Alchemists of the Qamarist Caliphate have used a refined oil made from coal and certain clays since long ago, and while only the purest of such oil burns clean enough to be used indoors, the resulting mineral-oil lamps burn brighter and longer than those that use whale or rapeseed oil. A mere vial of the “glass naphtha” can cost a farmer’s yearly wage in Rokugan, and alchemists of several clans are secretly trying to reproduce it. (Cost: 6 koku. Rarity: 8.)
