Luusyn Khan
Descrição
This giant water spirit known as the king of serpents, dragon king, or king of the water can be found near a body of fresh water or lazing in a thunderstorm, protecting the purity of lakes and rivers. Seeing the luusyn khan more as a force of nature than a being, most Ujik people steer clear of them. The Ujik endeavor to keep bodies of water unpolluted and as pure as possible to avoid the luusyn khan’s wrath. As drinking water is especially precious along the Sand Road, these efforts pair well other tasks that help ensure basic survival.
With their brilliant silver-blue scales and fangs, the luusyn khan resembles an enormous serpent—but one with horns and tufts of blue-green hair around their head. They speak in a thunderous voice and can sometimes be seen illuminated by lightning in a storm cloud or bringing rainbows to the horizon.
