Magistrate Asahina Shinako
Descrição
Shinako serves as town magistrate to Asahina Susumu, the lord of Shiro Kandai. An elegant woman of middle years, she offers delicate, carefully nuanced counsel on a variety of matters. She has served Susumu loyally for many years, and her reputation is beyond reproach.
In truth, however, Asahina Shinako is thoroughly corrupt, having struck deals with a number of smugglers. However, Asahina Susumu ignores any rumors about his magistrate’s activities, however. As long as
Shinako protects Crane interests in the port, he cares little about her other activities.
