The Coins of the Empire of Rempet
Texto
As the Qamarist Caliphate was built on the bones of the Empire of Rempet, many traces of that empire remain within the Caliphate. In particular, coins from the fallen Empire of Rempet can still be found. These coins depict the terrible visage of the Sun God and are generally considered to be cursed by those within the Caliphate. Unscrupulous merchants often try to pawn off these coins on unsuspecting travelers, hoping they will not be able to tell them apart from Qamari shenars.
Meanwhile, brandishing this currency marks a traveler as either gullible fodder for unscrupulous merchants or as cursed by the gods of the Empire of Rempet. However, should those with a keen eye look closer, there is a secret hidden in the design of the coin.
