At your discretion, you can allow PCs to activate from other rings listed in Table 8–1: Example on page 328 at double the cost. This option vastly increases the number of ways to spend , but also dilutes the uniqueness of each ring.
If you wanted to impose a small limit, cross-ring could be allowed only as follows:
Air to Fire or Water
Earth to Fire or Water
Fire to Air or Earth
Water to Air or Earth
Void to any
