The TN of a check cannot be reduced below 1 by modifiers. A TN 0 check would be a simple task for most, such as carrying one quarter of one’s weight or remembering a cousin’s name. This sort of task should not require a check, but circumstances might make it hard enough to warrant a check. Conversely, if circumstances make a check utterly trivial, but it is important to know a character’s bonus successes, the GM could call for a TN 0 check.
