Room To Breathe
Texto
When planning an adventure, you should be sure to include a variety of conflicts and challenges to evoke alternating emotions. If a story is all excitement and hope, the audience can begin to feel exhausted. If a story is all despair and fear, the audience may feel drained. Most stories switch back and forth between showing the protagonists’ successes and failures, to build toward even more powerful emotional moments.
By including a variety of conflicts and challenges, the GM also ensures that all the characters get to contribute and share in the limelight, which keeps them engaged.
