Most Rokugani ships stay
in shallow waters, traveling near the coastlines
or along inland rivers. However, the ships of the Mantis Minor Clan venture
onto the high seas. Their
ships have reached the Islands of Silk and Spice, the Ivory Kingdoms, and (some say) even the distant
lands of the Burning Sands. This trade makes
them one of the most powerful and influential of
the Minor Clans.
