Some arguments’ winners are determined by rhetoric, but others come down to hard facts. Of course, bludgeoning one’s opponent with more data than they can respond to is itself a rhetorical tactic, and one that can be quite effective against someone less well-prepared.

As a Scheme action check, you may make a Scholar skill (Earth) check targeting another character using a Scholar skill (or other skill, at your GM’s discretion) relevant to the topic at hand. The TN of this check is equal to your target’s focus minus their current strife, to a minimum of 1.
- Efeitos
If you succeed, your target suffers the Silenced condition unless they choose to gain strife equal to your ranks in Command, plus one for every bonus success.
Novas oportunidades
- : If you succeed, add one bonus success to this check for each reserved die you have.
- +: Choose one additional target with a focus lower than the original target’s per spent this way.
