Disdain for Urban Sprawl
EarthTipos MentalDescrição
Agasha Etsu held her sleeve against her face. “I prefer the clean mountain air.”
“The thick scent of corruption disturbed Etsu-san’s senses,” Kitsuki Moriko said, lowering her voice in a mocking tone. “She surveyed the scene, seeing evil reflected in the eyes of the people before her.”
“Please stop narrating me into your investigator stories.” The older woman sighed.
“As the darkness swallowed the City of the Rich Frog, Etsu-san hardened her gaze, determined to pierce the shadows to illuminate the truth.”
“We’re standing in broad daylight!” Etsu took a deep breath, trying to summon patience from the ground beneath her. Moriko, in her own way, was only pointing out Etsu’s folly. If they were to solve this mystery, she had to overcome her annoyance at this busy, chaotic city.
Efeitos
The following apply to a character with the Disdain for Urban Sprawl anxiety:
You do not like dense urban areas (though small towns are fine) due to a lack of plentiful nature, the crowds of people, the pace of life, or other reasons. You are not necessarily “wild,” “feral,” or “uncivilized” and may even be knowledgeable about city life. It simply brings you no joy.
After performing a check to overcome some facet of city life (such as a Government [Earth] check to recall a burdensome or complicated local city law or a Tactics [Earth] check fighting in the tight, cluttered alleyways of a city), you receive 3 strife. If this is the first time this has occurred this scene, you gain 1 Void point.
