The beast shot across the field, galloping in great, thunderous strides. Her parents ran after her, knowing they would never be able to catch them. That horse had been bred and trained for speed. Ichi’s screams echoed across the air, and for a moment, their hearts leapt to their throats, until they realized the screams were of joy.
