Hot Pot
EarthTipos InterpersonalPhysicalDescrição
Möngke sat on his horse—back aching, stomach growling—as the night grew deeper. It had been a long, dusty journey. His stomach growled again, but this time in anticipation: of the fiery bite of chili; the heady, back-of-the-throat warmth of herbs; and the satisfying aroma of meaty fats. Urging his horse faster and faster, he finally came across the encampment, flew into his family’s yurt, and slid in front of the hot pot, bowl already in hand.
“Möngke travels on his stomach!” his aunts and uncles laughed. “His nose will always bring him back home.”
Efeitos
The following apply to a character with the Hot Pot passion:
You know how to prepare a good, hearty, flavorful meal in a communal environment. You can identify the meats, tubers, vegetables, and spices to make hot pot, as well as what might spoil or be poisonous to the meal. Because of the strong associations, you can also recall memories connected to sharing hot pot with friends and family.
After performing a check involving the preparation of a communal meal of hot pot (such as a Labor [Earth] check to stretch limited rations into a satisfying meal or a Courtesy [Earth] check to make a guest feel disarmed and at ease over dinner), you remove 3 strife.
