Descrição
While relatively uncommon in Rokugan, lances are sometimes used where flat lands make unified cavalry charges a viable option for battle. The lance is a specialized spear designed exclusively for use on horseback, either to break the enemy in an initial charge or to hurl from horseback like a javelin.
While most warriors favor the flexibility of the spear over the lance, Moto tactics make extensive use of cavalry lancers, usually to capitalize on openings created by archers. Enemies who break formation and spread to avoid arrows simply play into the Moto’s hands, as they are now perfect fodder for the lancers’ backbreaking charge.
